Builders List
Prestwick Village Neighborhood Association
(Revised August 1, 2004)

The Prestwick Village Neighborhood Association in an effort to finish the subdivision and with the understanding of the Developer will agree to allow approved qualified builders to construct homes on privately owned units within the Woods of Prestwick and Prestwick Village Condominiums.

Additional builders may be approved by the Architectural Committee provided they:

  • Demonstrate that they are in the business of building homes by meeting with the Prestwick Village Neighborhood Association Architectural Committee and
  • Provide a copy of their Michigan Builder’s License.
  • Provide a certificate of insurance that complies with Michigan State Law including coverage for workman comprehensive and liability.
  • Identify the property owner. Will the property owner occupy the house or is it a “spec” house?
  • Provide pictures, blueprints, etc. of houses (with square footage of over 2000) they have built within the past three years.
  • Provide a list of names, addresses and contact information of people they have built for in the past three years.
  • Prove that they have built and will build a house within 18 months. If interior will require additional time, builder agrees to complete the exterior of the house, landscaping, driveway and sidewalks within 18 months of the start of construction.
  • Agree to comply with the requirements in the Prestwick Village and Woods of Prestwick Condominium Documents including but not limited to the Architectural Guidelines and Master Deed.
  • Submit an engineered site plan of the property in accordance with the master site plan for the Prestwick Village and/or The Woods of Prestwick Condominium.

The Prestwick Village Neighborhood Association is the Homeowners Association for the Prestwick Village and The Woods of Prestwick Condominium Associations.
