Congratulations to the GAM Women’s Amateur 2011 Champion, Christine Meier.  Prestwick Village hosted the 95th playing of the Michigan Women's Amateur.  This event consisted of 36 holes of stroke play which determined a 32 player field to fill a match play bracket of Michigan's best female players. The best players were treated to one of Michigan's best courses and took on the challenging layout and the lightning fast greens at Prestwick.   The final match consisted of Wolverine Meagan Bauer against Spartan Christine Meier.
